Assistant Director of Operations
Melissa Jungeblut (pronounced “young-blood”) is the Assistant Director of Operations for Pauli Murray College and is responsible for managing the financial and administrative operations of the college. Melissa comes to Pauli Murray College after working for fifteen years at Yale’s Council on East Asian Studies at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies.
A Connecticut native, Melissa earned her degree at the University of Connecticut. She lives in Milford with her husband, her two beautiful daughters, and her miniature dachshund. Melissa also serves as a parent leader in her town, focusing on issues related to Special Education. In her free time, Melissa enjoys being a mom and traveling with her family.

Senior Administrative Assistant II, Head’s Office
Suzette Courtmanche is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Head of Pauli Murray College, managing events, activities, and facilities rentals and working closely with the College Aides. Suzette comes to Pauli Murray College after spending time working for the Greater New Haven Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Yale School of Public Health, and Yale’s Council on East Asian Studies at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies.
Suzette comes from a long line of New Haveners, with deep roots tied to New Haven Public Schools, the Winchester Factory, and the City’s re-development. She earned her BA from the University of Massachusetts. She has great pride in growing up in the New Haven community. She is a fantastic resource should you have any questions about living, playing, or working in New Haven. Outside of work, Suzette enjoys playing scrabble and volleyball, taking hikes, and being part of her extremely large family—she’s one of 10 siblings! She is also the proud mom of Miguel, Gabriella and Joseph.

Senior Administrative Assistant II, Dean’s Office
Sarah DelVecchio is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Pauli Murray College. She is a New Haven County native, born and raised in Hamden and now resides beach-side in West Haven. She lives in a turn of the 20th century home with her wonderful partner, Jesse, and bright and active son, Gavin. She received her BS in Biology and MS in Exercise Science from Southern CT State University. With her background in the sciences, Sarah came to work for the Science and Quantitative Reasoning Center in the Yale College Dean’s Office in 2012.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys DIY renovations to her old beach home, paddle boarding in Long Island Sound, traveling, watching the Celtics with her boys, and jamming out to Rock Band (guitarist wanted!).
Making the long trek from SSS to Pauli Murray, Sarah is proud to be a part of the family of LiMurs. Please stop by for business, to chat, or grab a snack – the door is always open!
